CHURCH-RELATED EVENTS and ANNOUNCEMENTS
Church Session
The Session is the governing body of RPC, comprising the elders, with deacons as resource helpers. The RPC Session will meet next at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, December 11. Please forward any matters requiring church officer attention to Elder John Stallings, the clerk of the Session.
When the Session holds a meeting, it is normally on the second Wednesday of the month, in the Seminar Room, unless rescheduled.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
The next monthly prayer breakfast will be at 8 am, Saturday, December 14. All who attend often will tell you this is a very valuable prayer time. All men in and around the church are welcome. Join us in the Fellowship Hall.
Ladies’ First Saturday
All ladies in the church are invited to this time of prayer and projects together on the first Saturday of each month, except when other events take that slot. Ask Cindy Ryckman for details.

Our Historic Church
Our church building was built in the 1870s and will always need periodic maintenance and repairs. For example, stained glass windows, steeple resurfacing and bell tower restoration, replacement of faded signs outside of the church. Gifts to support these efforts may be placed in the Jehoash Box in the Buffet Room or in the offering plate with a memo indicating "Building Fund."
We thank God for these upgrades in the past two years:
– The Sanctuary ceiling has a subtle, new tile-like covering.
– The exterior of the Sanctuary has been painted!
– We have new carpeting.
– We have new pew cushions -- well crafted and durable looking.
– Currently six of 11 stained glass windows have been rebuilt, and number seven is out for action now.
– The steeple and bell tower have been repaired and repainted.
– The church signs have been updated in front of the church and in the alley facing the tracks.
